CJINI launches new corporate website

The Criminal Justice Inspection for Northern Ireland (CJINI) endeavours, through its work, to promote the effectiveness, efficiency and even-handedness of the criminal justice system.
The Criminal Justice Inspection for Northern Ireland (CJINI) endeavours, through its work, to promote the effectiveness, efficiency and even-handedness of the criminal justice system. It also seeks to secure improvement and greater co-operation between the various statutory and voluntary organisations to provide a better justice system for the whole community in Northern Ireland.
The Internet is CJINI's main communication medium and as such the design and architecture of the new website needed to be easy to use, intuitive and well structured. Furthermore, as a public facing website priority was given to making sure Inspections and Publication information elements were fully accessible from the homepage.
To maintain two way communications with website users an e-mail registration element was included enabling users to sign up to receive frequent updates. The FAQ and Links section also helps to answer user questions and point them to appropriate 3rd party websites for more information.
To support CJINI online requirements biznet IIS provided a fully content managed website on the
Kentico.NET platform and also support services on the form of secure hosting and ongoing maintenance.
