Biznet IIS unveils new state of the art premises in honour of US steel industry executive and entrepreneur

It was a triple celebration as not only were Biznet IIS celebrating their first birthday, but the company recently won two prestigious awards at the ITC Excellence Awards (Best Use of Technology in Education and Training and IT Project of the Year Awards), which are undoubtedly the Irish IT Oscars.
Biznet IIS specialises in the provision of web-based business improvement solutions to both SME and Enterprise organisations. The company also retains industry leading expertise in the Tourism, Education and Government sectors.
The offices were dedicated to the memory of Pittsburgh Steel Industry Executive and Entrepreneur John H Kirkwood who sadly passed away in September 07. John, originally from Co. Fermanagh, worked closely with young, export focused organisations, with Biznet being one of his chosen companies.
Managing Director and founder of Biznet IIS Adrian Bradley stated,
"Today is a very special day for me and the team at Biznet IIS, as not only is it the first anniversary of the new company, but John's family, Barbara Benner his close work colleague, Rob Tierney from Ireland's Institute of Pittsburgh are here to share the celebrations. I am very proud of the team here at Biznet IIS and I know that John, who was not only my mentor but good friend, would have been very proud that we are fulfilling our dreams and excelling at what we do. I am indebted for his unconditional support and friendship'.
Adrian Bradley founded Biznet IIS last year after establishing and being joint Managing Director with Daryl Fulton in Biznet Solutions for 10 years. In just one year, Biznet IIS has not only won two prestigious ICT awards, but their client list boasts a local, National and International porfolio of clients who include Dublin Bus, Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Good food Ireland, Enjoy Slovakia and Algarve Golf. Over the past 12 months the Biznet IIS team has increased from 25 to 34.
John Kirkwood, who resided in Pittsburgh, had an illustrious career. After College he spent a 4 year tour of duty in the Navy. He qualified as an Account and a Lawyer and went on to become VP of J&L Steel - the USA's largest steel corporation at one stage. He successfully led a management buy-out of Edgewater Steel and successfully ran the company for many years. On retiring from the Steel Industry he founded his own consultancy practice and worked with Amtrak, The Port Authority of New York and Bayer Corporation to new but a few. He was devoted to fostering peace, reconciliation and economic development in Northern Ireland.
