The Connect Project Goes Live

The Connect Project is a two year programme being delivered as part of the Comet strategy to facilitate enhanced collaboration and lesson learning between the Councils of the Belfast Metropolitan area: Belfast, Carrickfergus, Castlereagh, Lisburn, Newtownabbey and North Down and to exchange experience of best practice and in the context of approaches to economic, social, urban development and local governance.
Four cities in Europe have been selected to participate in the Connect project, with funding in place to facilitate exchanges to explore best practice and exchange of know-how - between Valencia in Spain, Rybnik in Poland, Stockholm in Sweden and Vilnius in Lithuania.
The site features a forum, publications section, case studies, news, events and FAQ's all being managed internally via Biznet Solutions' Fingerprint Sitebuilder. The site also has translated elements for the other participating partners across Europe.
